Debt Deep-Dive: Consumer Rights and Debt Collection

By the end of this session, practitioners will be able to:

–Coach customers to use their credit report to organize and prioritize debts that are directly impacting their financial goal(s).
–Provide coaching supports to customers around calling and speaking -and negotiating- with debt collectors.
–Support customers to identify a plan for resolving debt.
–Share tools and resources with customers that help them understand their rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
